Strawberry Cookie Bar
20cm x 30xm bar

INGREDIENTS
A
150g butter (at room temperature)
60g powdered sugar

B
150g flour (sifted)
100g almond powder (sifted)

Strawberry jam, as needed

PREPARATION
1. Mix butter and powdered sugar in a bowl. Add flour and almond powder into the bowl . Mix until well combined. Cover the bowl with a food wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
2. Roll out the dough (1) thinly. Cut into halves. Cut out hearts with a half dough. Place the other half on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
3. Spread the strawberry jam on the dough (2) and place the hearts on it.
4. Bake in the oven (preheated to 190C/ 374F) for 20 minutes. Put some powdered sugar as you like.
5. Enjoy!

*The parchment paper (2) needs to be the heat-proof item for 190C/20 minutes.
