Sweet & Spicy Yangnyeom Daikon Mochi
2 servings

INGREDIENTS
300g daikon radish
1 tablespoon sesame oil
[A]
1/3 white spring onion
30g pizza cheese
3 tablespoons potato starch
[B]
1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon sake
1 tablespoon mirin
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated garlic
Chopped green onions, as needed
Toasted sesame seeds, as needed
Thinly sliced red chili peppers, as needed
Korean seaweed (nori), as needed

PREPARATION
1. Julienne the daikon radish.
2. In a bowl, combine the julienned daikon (from step 1) with [A] ingredients and mix well.
3. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat and add the mixture from step 2. Cook until both sides are golden brown.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the ingredients listed under [B] and mix well.
5. Add the mixture from step 4 to the cooked daikon in the frying pan and quickly stir to coat.
6. Serve in a dish and garnish with chopped green onions, toasted sesame seeds, thinly sliced red chili peppers, and Korean seaweed.
