I went to a Taiyaki shop and tofu shop in my home town at the end of 2018. Taiyaki is a favourite snack sweets food in Japan and traditionally, Anko which is sweet adzuki bean inside, but this new version of taiyaki has sweet Japanese potato paste inside. I wanted to try this new taiyaki. The shop is a chain shop, and the shop person said it is vegan taiyaki because they do not use eggs nor the dairy. The tofu shop is new to me in the street. Almost everything has tofu or soy milk, soy flowers inside as an ingredient.
