"Where'd Dads That Cook come from? What's that all about?" Well, it started when I was a little kid. I was like seven years old or so or maybe younger. I don't know. Hanging out in the kitchen with my mom, watching her cook, and she'd teach me how to make things. It was imperative that I learn how to feed myself because my brothers weren't going to take care of me. When I met my wife, I cooked for her, and so I think it's what really helped. I mean if you can cook for your other half, they're going to love you forever. And after a while, it pretty much made sense for me to kind of hang out and cook and take care of the family and take care of the kid and drive him to school and pick him up and go to the activities while Michelle worked.Over the years, I ran into and met a bunch of other dads just like you. I met dads that liked to cook for their families, who made great, great food, great meals, and I said to myself, "You know what? I want to learn from some of these other dads." And so, here we are, Dads That Cook.How was school?Awesome.Yeah?Uh-huh (affirmative).What'd you do today?Oh, you know. Just chilled.Oh, just chilled at school? Just hung out?Jason Glover is the original Dad That Cooks and owns and operates Splash Digital Media. As a Dad and the primary cook for his family, he conceived DTC through his experiences and by talking with other Dads. When fellow Dads shared with Jason theyd love to learn from his own first-hand kitchen experiences, the idea for DTC was born. As the idea continued to keep him up at night he thought, why not leverage his film and video production and comedy background with his love of cooking for his family to become the host of DTC.
