The word "Saganaki" in Greek describes the method of preparing a meal in one frying pan, and we use it for many dishes, with Saganaki cheese being the best known and loved.
In this extraordinary recipe, I use Anthotyro (soft and fresh) Cheese which is light in taste, fat and calories unlike my recipe for the hard Anthotiros Saganaki that has a strong taste!
By frying it, it turns mellow inside while crispy outside. Very easy to prepare with the added bonus that you can actually eat Saganaki while dieting!
Isn't that worth trying it for?!!
Suitable for lacto-vegetarians.

INGREDIENTS:
450 gr. / 1 lb Anthotyro cheese, cold, cut in 2 rectangles (2.5 cm / 1 in. thick)
70 gr. / 2.5 oz / about 1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
Cold Water
2 tbsp. / 30 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 tsp. Salt
2-3 tbsp. / 30-45 ml Greek Pine Honey
