Tamarind Pulp 2 tbsp. Yellow Gram Lentil 1 tsp. Fenugreek Seeds 2 tsp. Cumin 2 tsp. Black Mustard Seeds 1 pinch Asafoetida12-15 Curry Leaves 2 tbsp. Refined Oil Salt (As per taste)Wash and towel dry green chillies, then remove their stem and cut them in small (1/2 cm. approx.) pieces. Heat oil in a pan, add fenugreek, cumin, black mustard, asafoetida and curry leaves in tempering. Add yellow gram lentil and toast for few seconds. Add tamarind pulp and salt. Mix and add green chillies in it, cook on low heat for 2 minutes. When mixture becomes semi-dry, remove from heat. Grind this mixture coarsely, when it cools down.
