Black Sesame Balls (黑芝麻丸) | The Chinese Cuisine

These delicious, chewy black sesame balls are perfect as a snack or dessert. They are healthy, naturally sweetened, and black sesame seeds are even said to help reverse graying hair.

INGREDIENTS (10 servings):
- 5 pitted medjool dates
- 80g black sesame seeds (~1/2 cup)
- 30g walnuts (~1/3 cup)

DIRECTIONS:
1. toast the black sesame seeds and walnuts over low-med heat for about 5 minutes
2. put black sesame seeds and walnuts into food processor, blending into a paste
3. cut medjool dates into small pieces and blend into a paste
4. mix the black sesame/walnut paste with the date paste together thoroughly
5. divide into 10 sections and form into balls
6. serve and enjoy!
