Soft & Chewy Bagels ()

These bagels are crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside and extremely easy to make! You can customize them by using your own toppings; I used Everything but the Bagel seasoning from Trader Joe's and pumpkin seeds.

INGREDIENTS (8 bagels):
- 4 cups all-purpose or bread flour
- 1and 1/2 cups (360ml)warm milk
- 2 tbsp. instant yeast
- 1 tbsp.sugar
- 2 tsp.salt
- 1 egg for egg wash
- toppings and seasonings

DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt and mix thoroughly
2. Slowly pour in warm milk and knead into dough
3. Let the dough rise for 1 hour
4. Divide the dough into 8 pieces and shape the dough into bagels
5. Boil each bagel in water for 1 minute on each side
6. Brush on egg wash
7. Bake at 425 F for 25 minutes
8. Serve and enjoy!
