I begin slowly preparing and showing you my Christmas dishes. Usually the most popular and loved ones are for Christmas sweets.
The typical, traditionally Greek Christmas sweets are Kourabiedes, Melomakarona and Diples. You will find many of my recipes on my YouTube channel.
One of most beloved sweets is Chocolate Vrahakia i.e. rocks (in Greek, due to their shape).
This is for many reasons which I will explain:
First of all, they are healthy because they are prepared without sugar, and can be eaten by everyone incl. vegans and those fasting.
They are so easy to prepare, in literally 10'!
They can be prepared ahead of time and be stored in the fridge. Also you could make them all year round not only for the festive season.
But the most important? They are CHOCOLATEY!!
So let me show you how to prepare them. They are very easy but have a few tricks that you need to pay attention to, in order to succeed 100%!
Suitable for vegans and fasting.

INGREDIENTS:
400 gr / 14 oz Dark Chocolate Bar 52% cocoa or Vegan Chocolate
175 gr / 6.2 oz Walnuts, cut in fourths
90 gr / 3.2 oz / about cup Pistachio Nuts (not roasted or salty)
50 gr / 1.8 oz / less than cup Oats
shot Cognac
5 ml / 1 tsp. Corn oil (for glazing)
Optional for a Christmas effect:
10 gr / 0.35 oz Christmas small Candies
Powder (icing) Sugar for sprinkling on top
