Serves 8-10 persons
"♪It's beginning to taste a lot like Christmas!♬" This Turkey Pie is perfect to be presented at a buffet at Christmas time. It's easy to prepare and you can use either fresh turkey breasts or leftover turkey chunks from the Christmas table. I also made it easier by using ready pastry sheets. This recipe is showing preparation with uncooked turkey but you can swap it with leftover turkey if you just add it to the stuffing towards the end of cooking.

Ingredients:

2 Sheets Short Crust Pastry

500 gr. Turkey breast cut in cubes (or leftovers)

1 Onion finelly chopped

1 bunch Parsley chopped

300 gr. Ground Beef

70 gr. Pine Nuts

100 gr. Currants

100 gr. Walnuts

100 gr. Chestnut Mushrooms chopped

100 gr. Chestnuts chopped (optional)

100 gr. Single Cream

1 Beef Stock Cube

1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves

1/2 tsp. Ground Nutmeg

1/2 tsp. Turmeric

70 ml. Brandy

2 Eggs

Oil for sautéing
