Starting his business 9 months ago selling Lala white bee Hoon and Hokkien Mee, Mr Bee Goh used to be a chef for a catering company 20 years ago. His rendition of White Bee Hoon comes with lala, prawns, vegetables and eggs, topped with a generous helping of pork lard that gives the dish an extra oomph.Mr Goh's fried Hokkien Mee is a must-try. An interesting twist to the dish, Japanese Lala (clams) are added, on top of the plump, fresh prawns. The noodles are stir-fried with robust Wok Hei, soaked in flavourful broth. It's a slurp-worthy plate that will make you fall in love at first bite. It is an exhilarating sight watching Mr Goh at work.
