But I have to say, it is so good that it could be eaten any time of the year! The authentic Magiritsa soup is made with lamb's offal (liver, lungs etc.) and intestines. It is a very tasty soup, actually prepared in a similar way as what you will see in this video. I have made it many times in the past, but as we grow a bit older I have been looking for a lighter alternative, especially because we have to consume the soup after midnight! Hence this amazingly easy Magiritsa soup made with chicken! Keeping the tradition and also making something that my kids will eat too
