This one though is absolutely amazing. It belongs to my beloved Mom and she shared the recipe with me. When I was growing up, she prepared this pie quite often, because we really loved it, it made the perfect dinner but was also great for school/work lunches! She made it using (thin) phyllo pastry, for that wonderful, crispy effect. This is one super-duper recipe, I am proud to share with you, to try at home for your family! INGREDIENTS:Ingredients for the pastry: 450 gr / 1lb Phyllo (filo) Pastry (1 large package), thawed 60 gr / 2 oz Butter salted, meltedIngredients for the ground meat sauce: 550 gr / 1lb 5.5 oz Minced Beef 210 gr / 7.25 oz / 200 ml canned thick Tomato sauce 2 tbsp. Tomato Puree-Paste 4.5 tbsp. / 70 ml Vegetable Oil 2 Bay leaves 1 Medium Onion, diced 1 tsp.
