This easy and quick one-pan dish has a distinctive Greek name "Tigania", to describe the way it is prepared: in a 'Tigani' i.e. stir-fried in a pan.
There are many beloved Greek recipes for Tigania either with meat, chicken or shellfish. For this one you need two good quality Greek ingredients: sausages and cheese.
The ingredients and final taste are similar to the renowned Spetsofai from Pilion mountain while beer elevates its taste to new levels of deliciousness.
Prepared in just 25', what a great way to enjoy an evening with friends and plenty of cold beer.

INGREDIENTS:
400 gr. / 14 oz / 2 large Greek Village Sausages
100 gr. / 3.5 oz Greek Kefalograviera Cheese, cubed (altern: Pecorino)
1 Green Bell Pepper, cut in cubes
1 Red, Sweet Florina Pepper (horn), cut in cubes
12 Mini Tomatoes, halved
1 medium Onion, cut in thick chunks
1/3 cup / 80 ml Olive Oil
1 glass / 250 ml Blond Greek Beer
1 tsp. dried Throubi-Summer Savory (or dried Thyme)
1 tsp. dried Oregano
Freshly ground Salt and Pepper
