This stall has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand award in 2019. Together with the Laksa, we are also going to eat Finger licking curry puff, egg tart and Min Jiang Kueh. Michelin Stars are a rating system used by the red Michelin guide to grade restaurants on their quality. The guide was originally developed in 1900 to show french drivers where local amenities such as as restaurants and mechanics were located.In 2016,2 hawker stalls, Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and noodle and Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle were the First Asian Street Stall to be awarded Michelin Stars. This stall has been frequented by many media. Look at the posters it have pasted all over the stall. You can also see Singapore ministers here. This stall is operated by 1 friendly couple.. They interact with the customers with a smile. During office hours, the queues at Hong Lim Food centre is very long. I ordered the $9 version Mee Siam which came with the crayfish. It has a light Pineapple juice taste and has some peanut in the soup. This bowl of Mee Siam is loaded with egg, chicken, crayfish and 3 prawns. It is sumptuous meal. The prawn and the crayfish are very fresh, the chicken is very tender. On seeing The grannys pancake queue is very long, I decided to try. They have 4 flavours, peanut, red bean, coconut selling at $1 and the peanut butter for $1.20. This is the coconut one, This is the red bean. This is the peanut. I packedthese Min Jian Kueh home, it is still warm when I open it. It is quite filling. And big. The skin is chewy and bouncy. I came back on another day for the Sungei Road Trishaw laksa. However it was sold out before it closed. I happened to see this fanous curry puff stall. The curry puff is still crispy when it is cold. Do you like my video?
