If you are one of those people who are not sure about okra, then you should definitely check this recipe!
A succulent, umami dish that will enthuse even those who were not sure until now on how to cook okras and like what they eat! Because okras are really an amazing, versatile vegetable!
So this dish has practically everything: Perfectly braised beef in a rich tomato sauce and then joined with okra and potatoes for slow cooking in a clay pot for that divine earthy flavor. I hope you will enjoy it!

INGREDIENTS:
Ingredients for cooking the beef:
700 gr / 1.5 lb boneless Beef, cut in large chunks (any part w/a bit of fat e.g. Rib)
1.5 medium or 1 large Onion, finely chopped
2 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
cup / 125 ml Olive Oil
3 Bay leaves
250 gr / 9 oz Thick Tomato Sauce (passata-canned)
50 ml / 3.2 tbsp. red wine Vinegar
2 tsp. Sugar
1 tsp. ground Cinnamon
tsp. All-Spice (bahari)
500 ml / 2 cups hot Water
Freshly Ground Salt and Pepper

Ingredients for the Okras and Potatoes:
250 gr / 9 oz Okras (fresh or frozen and thawed)
400 gr / 14 oz Potatoes (weighed clean), cut in crescents
500 ml / 2 cups white Vinegar
250 ml / 1 cup Water
Freshly Ground Salt and Pepper
