How to Season a Chinese Cast Iron Wok / Pan

It's a 30cm wide Nitrigan Light Cast Iron Wok. Compared to a typical cast iron wok, this wok is 30% lighter. Cast iron wok is viewed as one of the safest and healthiest cookware but rust has always been an issue. To resolve this, La Gourmet innovated by adding nitrigan to the surface of the cast iron. Nitrigan is highly resistant to rust as well as incredibly strong and durable. Most importantly, no chemical has been added to the wok, making the nitrigan treatment on cast iron a healthy alternative to PTFE coating cookware.
