Lalagia are a Greek pancake-like delicacy originating from the Mani region in the Peloponnese. They are made with humble ingredients that you usually have at home. Typically, they are shaped like spirals and other long strips or strings of dough, and then fried. The result? Excellent and very crunchy "Breadsticks" that literally go well with any dish you serve.
Traditionally they are served in Mani at Christmas time, with honey, walnuts and cinnamon, although they are prepared all year round. They are also popular in Cyprus!
Find out all the little secrets how to prepare them in my mouthwatering recipe.
So exquisite! Enjoy Lalagia!!
