Potato Cream Cheese Mochi
Servings: 2

INGREDIENTS
250g sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons potato starch

3 tablespoons milk
100g cream cheese
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
A
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sake
1 tablespoon mirin
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon potato starch

PREPARATION
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Leave them in the water for
10 minutes.

2. Drain the water. Cover with a food warp and microwave for 5 to 6 minutes at
600W until soften.

3. Mash the potatoes while hot.

4. Add potato starch and milk gradually into (3). Knead until well combined.

5. Divide (4) into 4 equal parts and roll them out. Place cream cheese on the center
of each mochi-dough and form into a ball.

6. Place (5) onto a lightly oiled pan. Cook both side over low heat.

7. Turn off the heat. Mix all of A ingredients and add into the pan (6). Simmer over
low heat.

8. Enjoy!
