SECRET REVEALED! Best Fried Glutinous Rice (Lotus Leaf Rice) Loh Mai Fun

This Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice is an excellent dish to be added on your reunion dinner menu. If you find putting the rice in the leaf to steam too troublesome, you can also just steam the rice as is.

On the eve of Lunar New Year, we Chinese usually have reunion dinner with our family as symbolic gesture of giving thanks for the year that has passed as well as to celebrate the coming of a brand new year. However, unlike our usual family dinners, we will prepare more yummy food as part of the celebration.

Refer to the ingredient list below or go to our website here http://spicenpans.com/lotus-rice/ for your easy reference.

We would like to give special thanks to La Gourmet for letting us try out their high quality cast iron wok. If you like to buy them, you can go to any of the major department stores in Singapore such as Isetan, Robinsons, BHG, OG, Metro or Tangs.

Hope you can recreate this yummy dish in the comfort of your home. Thanks for dropping by our channel.
