Christmas is all about the children: celebrating the birth of Jesus with them, show them your love and care, get them thoughtful gifts and prepare a special meal that they will enjoy.
Of course, not only children enjoy Christmas, but the kids that we all hide inside us this magical season.
I made these cute, easy and delicious Greek cheese pies shaped like reindeer and they were gobbled up in seconds by the whole family. I had lots of fun preparing them, do you want to find out why?

INGREDIENTS
Ingredients for the filling:
150 gr. / 5.5 oz Greek Feta cheese, at room temp, crumbled
1 large Egg @room temp.
70 gr. / 2.5 oz Graviera cheese, grated (altern: Gouda cheese)
Freshly Ground Pepper

Ingredients for the Cheese pies:
540 gr. / 1 lb 3 oz Puff Pastry (2 packages/sheets)
A round cookie-cutter of diameter 10 cm / 3.9 in.
A small bowl with water
1 tbsp. / 15 ml Butter, melted

Ingredients for garnishing of Reindeer:
16 Small Pretzel salted crackers and 4 Pretzel salted sticks
8 Cherry Tomatoes
16 Candy Eyes (altern: Black olives, pitted)
