Welcome back to my kitchen. Today I will show you a special recipe. It is the classic recipe for Christmas Yule Log that is loved all over the world.
This is my made-from-scratch Snowy White Yule Log recipe, with white chocolate that I love and a few other features that you won't find in other recipes.
Inside the homemade sponge cake I prepare, I spread my lovely homemade tangerine jam and some kumquat liqueur (or other citrusy liqueur), which gives that special festive scent and flavor.
I think I "sold" it very well to you!

INGREDIENTS:
Ingredients for the White Chocolate Ganache (Filling and Garnish):
500 ml / 520 gr / 1 lb 2.7 oz Ready, whipped Cream, chilled
200 gr / 7 oz White Chocolate bar, cut in cubes
75 ml / 0.3 cup fresh Milk, semi-skimmed, very HOT!!
200 gr / 7 oz homemade Tangerine Jam (altern: Orange marmalade) @room temp.
2 tbsp. / 30 ml Liqueur Kumquat or Grand Marnier
Optional garnishes: White edible snowflakes (candies), Golden edible pearls, bonbons, powder sugar

Ingredients for the sponge Cake:
1 and 1/3 cup / 165 gr / 5.8 oz Self-raising Flour, sifted
5 large Eggs or 6 medium Eggs @room temp.
1 cup / 220 gr / 7.8 oz Sugar
1 tsp. / 4 gr / 0.1 oz Vanilla powder (Sugar)
Pinch of Salt
