Summer Sangria Spritzers 3 Ways

White Summer Sangria Spritzer

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

cup sugar
cup water
2 cups white wine
3 nectarines, de-pipped and sliced into wedges
1 cup raspberries
4 whole star anise + extra to garnish
4 cinnamon quills + extra to garnish
500ml Valpr Sparkling Spring Water
Bunch of thyme sprigs

METHOD

1. Make a quick sugar syrup by placing sugar and hot water in a jar and shaking vigorously until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool.
2. Fill a large jug a third way full with ice and pour in sugar syrup, wine, fruit and spices. Stir to combine.
3. Just before serving, add sparkling water and thyme and stir gently.
4. Serve in large glasses over lots of ice with sprigs of thyme, star anise and cinnamon quills and ENJOY!

Pink Summer Sangria Spritzer

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

cup water
2 cups ros wine
3 apples, de-cored and cut into slices
1 cup blueberries
4 whole star anise + extra to garnish
4 cinnamon quills + extra to garnish
500ml Valpr Sparkling Spring Water
Bunch of mint sprigs

METHOD

1. Make a quick sugar syrup by placing sugar and hot water in a jar and shaking vigorously until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool.
2. Fill a large jug a third way full with ice and pour in sugar syrup, wine, fruit and spices. Stir to combine.
3. Just before serving, add sparkling water and mint and stir gently.
4. Serve in large glasses over lots of ice with sprigs of mint, star anise and cinnamon quills and ENJOY!

Red Summer Sangria Spritzer

Serves 4

2 cups red wine
2 oranges, sliced thickly
1 cup quartered strawberries
4 whole star anise + extra to garnish
4 cinnamon quills + extra to garnish
500ml Valpr Sparkling Spring Water
Bunch of rosemary sprigs

METHOD

1. Make a quick sugar syrup by placing sugar and hot water in a jar and shaking vigorously until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool.
2. Fill a large jug a third way full with ice and pour in sugar syrup, wine, fruit and spices. Stir to combine.
3. Just before serving, add sparkling water and thyme and stir gently.
4. Serve in large glasses over lots of ice with sprigs of rosemary, star anise and cinnamon quills and ENJOY!
