Veg Pearl Korma
The compliment that rings true to this preparation is that it could be served as an accompaniment for both, lunch as well as dinner. A less explored veg curry.

Ingredients
2 Cups. Corn Kernels
1 Cup. Milk
2 Medium size Onions (Thinly sliced)
2 tbsp. Butter / Ghee / Refined Oil
1 Pinch Asafoetida
½ tsp. Cumin Seeds
3-4 Cloves
3-4 Green Cardamom
1 Bay Leaf
1 tbsp. Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 tsp. Green Chili Paste
1 Cup Beaten Curd
1 tsp. Garam Masala
1 tbsp. Green Coriander (Finely Chopped)
Salt
Boil Corn with milk in a pan on medium flame, till milk dries out.
Heat half butter in a pan and fry onions till golden brown. Take them out and keep aside. Now add rest of the butter to the pan, add Asafoetida and Cumin Seeds, Cloves, Green Cardamom and Bay Leaf. When Cumin seeds crackle, add Ginger-Garlic Paste and sauté for 30 seconds. Now remove it from the heat and let it cool down for few minutes. Now add Beaten Curd, and cook for 1 minute stirring continuously. Now add Green Chili Paste and Garam Masala, mix well and cook for 2 minutes on low heat. Now add boiled Corn and salt and add 1 cup of water for gravy. Mix well, and cover, and let boil for 2-3 minutes. Now make a fine paste of fried onions with little water. Add onion paste to the gravy and mix well. Cover and cook for 2 more minutes. Veg Pearl Korma is ready

Garnish with chopped Coriander leaves, and serve with Chapati or Rice
