Chinese Baozi / Pork Buns (包子) | The Chinese Cuisine

NOT MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO: put the lid on the steaming pots for 30-40 minutes before steaming and turning on the heat to make the baozi rise, otherwise they will turn out sagging and not fluffy at all. Freeze any left over baozi, and microwave again when you want to eat them.

-milk or water
-yeast

-ground pork
-eggplant
-green onions
-sugar
-white pepper powder
-garlic powder
-onion powder
-rice cooking wine
-chinkiang vinegar
-dark soy sauce
-light soy sauce
-sesame oil
