Shaobing, also known as huoshao, is a delicious sesame flatbread common in Northern Chinese cuisine. We flavored ours with cumin powder-- if you love cumin you will love this recipe!INGREDIENTS (amount of each ingredient depends on how much dough you use):- dough (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1bBiYmRQiE)- salt- cumin powder- olive oil- sesame seedsDIRECTIONS:1. roll dough out into large, flat sheet2. sprinkle on an even layer of salt and cumin powder3. drizzle on some olive oil4. evenly disperse the ingredients as shown in video5. roll the sheet of dough into a cylinder and secure the ends6. divide into even sections and then squish into circular disks as shown7. press the shaobing into some sesame seeds8. pan-fry on low heat until golden brown on both sides9. serve and enjoy!
