Easy Chinese Soup: Salted Vegetable Duck Soup Chinese Hokkien Recipe

Contrary to popular belief (oh well at least mine), salted vegetables and duck soup or kiam chye ark tng is actually a Peranakan/Nyonya cuisine. I have been eating this since young because my granny and mother used to cook this yummy soup. This explains why I always have the misconception - thinking this is a typical Chinese soup. It doesn't help that many roasted duck stalls in singapore usually serves this soup as one of the available soups for selection.
