Serves 4 persons for lunch
Bruschetta is an antipasto (starter dish) from Italy, consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt with various toppings. Lately, Bruschettas are very trendy in Greece.
This recipe for Bruschetta varies slightly. I use delicious Greek goat cheese from Mani and ripe King Figs when in season, and then grill everything together in the oven for a wonderfully melted, sweet and salty result.
Doesnt this sound mouthwatering?!
Suitable for lacto-vegetarians.

INGREDIENTS:
4 thick slices Sourdough Bread (1.5 cm / 0.6 in thick)
3 King Figs, washed, cut in thin slices w/their skin (or other ripe, good qual. Figs)
120 gr / 4.2 oz Kefalotyri Manis Cheese, cut in thin slices (altern: Goat Cheese)
1 tsp. Butter and a bit Olive Oil
4 tbsp. Greek Thyme Honey
