How to make Korokke Japanese Potato croquette No.1 Street Food!

Japanese Korokke () is a very popular snack or side dish in Japan. It is a deep-fried mashed potato that is typically mixed with seasoned minced meat. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

The flavor and texture are different from shop to shop; my favorite Korroke shop is in Kobe, and that is the best Korokke I have ever had, and I recreate it at home!

Makes a dozen
600g (1.3 lb) Potato (Russet)
200g (7 oz) ground beef
150g (5.2 oz) minced onion
2 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs sugar
1/2 ts salt
black pepper to taste
batter
3 tbs all-purpose flour
2 tbs water
1 large egg
all-purpose flour, Panko bread crumb
