Mushi Pan | Healthy Japanese Steamed Cake with Sweet Potato (EP298) | Kitchen Princess Bamboo

Today, I'm going to be making "Mushi Pan" Japanese Steamed cake.

"Mushi pan" is a nostalgic treat for me.

One of my aunts is very good at it, and I asked her what's secret, she said it's soy sauce.

In my version, I add sweet potato to make it even more delicious.
It looks like muffins, but it contains much less sugar and fat, perfect for snacks.

5 Mushi Pan
・Sweet Potato Preparation
1 sweet potato (150g)
10g sugar
water to cover
・Cake batter
40g sugar
1 large egg (60g)
30g whole milk
15g vegetable oil
100g all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
Black sesame seeds
