Steamed Chicken with Hot Sesame Sauce (怪味儿鸡) | The Chinese Cuisine

INGREDIENTS:
- 5 chicken drumsticks
- 10 g chinkiang vinegar
- 1 g hot sesame oil + 3 g sesame oil
- 10 g sesame paste
- 10 g soy sauce
- 12 g water
- 0.5 g sichuan pepper powder
- 8 g sugar
- 5 g green onions

DIRECTIONS:
1. remove the bone from the chicken drumsticks
2. place two to three pieces of chicken on aluminum foil
3. season with a bit of sichuan pepper powder
4. roll the aluminum foil up with the chicken tightly
5. steam for 30 minutes
6. slowly mix water into sesame paste
7. add in chinkiang vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, sichuan pepper powder, and green onions
8. mix and then add in hot sesame oil and sesame oil
9. slice the chicken and drizzle on the sauce
10. serve and enjoy!
