Hot and Spicy Beef Tendon and Beef Shank (麻辣牛筋和牛腱) | The Chinese Cuisine

Delicious, tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef tendon and shank cooked with an amazing blend of spices and ingredients!

INGREDIENTS:
- 2 beef shanks (1130 g)
- 2 beef tendons (380 g)
- 50 ml cooking wine
- 50 ml light soy sauce
- 50 ml water
- 1/4 tbsp. Sichuan peppercorns
- 6 slices of ginger
- 2 star anise
- 2 tbsp. rock sugar

For serving:
- cilantro
- chinkiang vinegar
- homemade hot chili oil
- roasted white sesame seeds

DIRECTIONS:
1. Boil the beef tendons and shanks briefly
2. Place them in pressure cooker
3. Add in all ingredients
4. Pressure cook for 45 minutes
5. Slice and serve with cilantro, chinkiang vinegar, hot chili oil and roasted white sesame seeds
