How to Make Japanese Bamboo Shoot Sticky Rice Taste of Spring!#japaneserecipe #bambooshoot#cooking

Fresh Bamboo shoots are in season.
They have a distinct flavor and aroma that reminds me of sweet corn.
That comforting smell fill my kitchen. I've pairing these crispy bamboo shoots with chewy Sticky rice for a textural contrast that's simply irresistible.

200g (7oz) Bamboo shoot
2 rice cups (360ml) of Japanese Sticky Rice
34 pieces Dried Shiitake mushroom
30g (1 oz) Carrot
10g (1/3 oz) Ginger
1 sheet Aburaage
2 tbs Soy sauce
2 tbs Mirin
Kinome for garnishing
